Weeks 1 - 12: Introduction to Rheumatology

Topics: Overview of rheumatic diseases, basic immunology, introduction to autoimmune processes, diagnosis, and management, management strategies, reactive arthritis.

Weeks 1 - 12: Osteoarthritis

Topics: Degenerative joint disease, risk factors, and treatment, chronic gout, diagnostic approach, management.

Weeks 1 - 12: Myositis and Polymyositis/Dermatomyositis

Topics: Muscle inflammation, clinical presentation, and treatment, other childhood rheumatic diseases, management of chronic pain syndromes, future research in rheumatology.
