Weeks 1 - 12: Introduction to Surgical Techniques

Topics: Overview of surgical techniques, roles in the operating room, introduction to surgical instruments, surgical hand scrub, patient positioning for various surgeries, basic suturing techniques.

Weeks 1 - 12: Hemostasis and Tissue Handling

Topics: Principles of hemostasis, tissue handling techniques, use of electrosurgery, basic laparoscopic techniques, handling of bowel tissues.

Weeks 1 - 12: Surgical Procedures - Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery

Topics: Techniques for cardiac and thoracic surgeries, handling of cardiovascular tissues, joint replacement, emergency protocols, review of key concepts.
