Tuition and Fee Overview: The Medical Science Institute's fee structure is established and reviewed annually by our Board of Advisors. Tuition covers admission and grants access to all course content, including resources, academic workbooks, and software, unless stated otherwise. This policy ensures clarity in the fee obligations and entitlements for students.
Fee payments may be made through the following channels:
Certain program fees and other related expenses may qualify for tax credits. Students are advised to consult their personal accountant to determine applicable tax benefits.
To ensure timely access to course materials and a smooth start to each term, all tuition fees must be paid and posted to the student's account by the established due date for each term.
Tuition fees are due approximately 7 business days before the start of each academic term. Students are responsible for ensuring that payments are received and processed on time.
To ensure timely payment posting, students should consider the following processing times for payment methods:
Please allow enough time for your payment to be processed, ensuring it reaches the Institute on or before the due date.
A late fee of $25 will apply if payment is received after the specified due date. It is important to note that failure to make a timely payment may result in a delay in course access, and the late fee will be charged to your student account.
We encourage all students to plan ahead and submit payments early to avoid any late fees and ensure uninterrupted access to course materials. If you have any questions regarding your payment or need assistance, please contact the administrative office promptly.
At STEM Canada’s Medical Science Institute (MSI), we strive to maintain a smooth and transparent payment process for all students. However, it is crucial that students adhere to the payment deadlines as set forth in the Payment Due Date Policy. Failure to comply with these deadlines will result in the following actions:
If a student fails to make payment by the due date, they will be considered in payment default and will not be in good financial standing. This may lead to the following consequences:
The registrar will notify students about any outstanding fees and will apply the appropriate late fees to all accounts that remain unpaid after the due date. If the account continues to remain unsettled the involuntary withdrawal process will be enforced.
